Where does H Mart Online deliver?

We deliver to most addresses within the 48 contiguous states of the United States via UPS Ground and FedEx Home Delivery. Currently we do not provide international shipping, but “고국통신(Gift)” items are delivered to South Korea only.

How does H Mart Online deliver?

Your order will be processed at and shipped from the nearest distribution centers among New Jersey, Texas and California. Once your package arrives at UPS/FedEx facility, it can be tracked with real-time visibility until it is received by a recipient. For more information, see Tracking an Order.

1. Shipping Costs

The shipping fee of $5.00 will be applied to the order regardless of the destination. Orders of which merchandise total (subtotal) are greater than $100 are eligible for free shipping. Please note that it does not include tax, refrigerated handling fee, items that are on special promotion and free shipping items. 

*There are a number of items including electronic appliances that are eligible for free shipping. These items are marked with a truck icon.

2. Handling Fee for Refrigerated and Frozen Items

Items requiring refrigeration need special care in handling and hence require special packing materials. To partly defray such costs, there is a special handling fee of $4.95 for the first $29.99 of refrigerated items and additional $3 per each $30 increment thereafter.

Also, a minimum refrigerated/frozen food order amount of $8.99 applies.

Delivery policies regarding refrigerated and frozen food
Refrigerated/frozen items must be kept cool during the transit, and this requires special handling. We use plenty of ice gel packs for all refrigerated and frozen items as well as dry ice for frozen items to keep them cool.

To avoid the spoilage of the food during the transit, we DO NOT ship refrigerated and frozen items to the following states:
IA, MN, MT, ND, OR, SD, WA, WI

Some parts of CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, MA, MI, NE, NV, WY are not available for delivery of refrigerated and frozen items. To check the availability, please refer to 'Shipping' section above.

H Mart Online ships every weekday (Monday ~ Friday) via UPS Ground and FedEx Home Delivery. We do not ship on weekends and national holidays when there is no shipping service.

FedEx Home Delivery: Tuesday - Saturday

*Saturday delivery is only available at residential addresses, excluding some ZIP codes. Please contact us to check availability for Saturday delivery to your ZIP code.

In case of UPS shipments, some packages can be delivered to the nearest UPS Access Point after the first delivery attempt so that recipients can pick up their packages at their convenient time. Please note that we need 1~3 more business days to process an order prior to shipment. Once the order ships out, it can take up to 3 business days to receive the order depending on the destination address.

Hmart.com ships items only within the 48 contiguous states of the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. No shipments can be made to PO Box, APO/FPO addresses, United States territories, or addresses outside of the United States, except for the ‘Gift’ items that are delivered to South Korean address only. Below are some general guidelines for items shipped by Hmart.com.

P.O. Box, APO/FPO address
UPS/FedEx does not provide delivery to a P.O. Box, APO/FPO address, and we require a physical address including a street number and a street name to deliver your order.

*A package addressed to a P.O. Box or an incomplete address (e.g. missing an apartment number) may experience delays or returns and will be subject to an Address Correction charge.

P.O. Box address directed to school
A package to a school with a P.O. Box address will be delivered, but please provide a shipping address which follows the student mailing address policy as advised by your institution to prevent hold and return of the package.

International Shipping
Shipping to international destinations and U.S territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam is unavailable at this time. Our shipping service is only available within the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

Shipping Accuracy
Please check your address carefully before you submit an order. If an address error is made by the customer, Hmart.com may correct addresses and limit refunds and replacements. For the shipments that include perishables, we cannot guarantee the condition of the items if the delivery was delayed because of incorrect addresses.

You can always track the real-time status of your order online through tracking number that will be sent to your email address once the order ships out. You can also go to ‘Account’ page to check the status and tracking number of your most recent order and order history.

*Shipment status may not be updated until the arrival of the package to the UPS/FedEx facility.
*If you can't locate any tracking or delivery information about your package, please contact us.

UPS/FedEx does not provide individual text or call alerts for order status, but you may sign up for their exclusive service such as setting a pickup schedule and receiving delivery alerts.
