Joy with Jangjorim_장조림

One of Korea’s most sought out banchan dishes is the soy braised beef or jangjorim! Small amounts are found on top of rice, porridge, and noodles, but you can now have unlimited access to it at home. So deliciously amazing!

12 Fresh Quail Eggs
11 ½ lb Eye of Round Beef
2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
7 cups Water
¼ tsp Salt
8 Garlic Cloves
¼ oz Ginger, sliced
3 Dried Red Peppers
1 Dried Kelp, 2" x 1½"
2 oz Big Green Onion, cut 3" long
2 Shiitake Mushrooms
½ cup Soy Sauce
¼ cup Sugar
¼ cup Cooking Sake or Soju
¼ tsp Whole Black Peppercorns
10 Shishito Peppers
2 cups Beef Broth (will be made)
