Ogok-bap (Korean Five Grain Rice) / 정월 대보름 오곡밥

Hearty and nutritious multi-grain rice includes Korean glutinous rice, black and red beans, sorghum rice, and glutinous millet! Celebrate Jeongwol Daeboreum with us and have a bowl of ogok-bap, traditionally eaten on the first full moon after the Lunar New Year!


Serves: 3 | Total Cooking Time: 4 hours (including preparation)


360 g Korean Glutinous Rice, washed and soaked for 30 minutes
80 g Black Bean, washed and soaked for 3 hours
85 g Sorghum Rice, washed and soaked for 1 hour
80 g Red Bean, washed
85 g Glutinous Millet, washed
2 L Water
½ tbsp Salt
