Pork Gochujang Stew / 고추장 찌개

Relish in the flavors of gochujang with a new type of jjigae combining red pepper paste with pork, tofu, potatoes and more! If you like the taste of jeyuk bokkeum, or spicy stir-fried pork, you’ll love this. Ready in only 30 minutes too!

7 oz Pork CT Butt, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 oz Onions, sliced
½ pkg Tofu, sliced
2 oz Black Oyster Mushroom
2 oz Shiitake Mushroom
5 oz Grey Squash, cubed
1½ Medium Potato, skin-off and cubed
1.4 oz Big Green Onion, sliced
0.2 oz Korean Spicy Green Pepper or Serrano Pepper, chopped
2 tbsp Soup Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Cooking Oil

1.05 Qt Water
3 Herring Fishes
2 Dried Kelp, 2”X 2” pieces

2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean Red Pepper Paste)
1 tsp Doenjang (Soy Bean Paste)
1 tbsp Garlic, minced
½ tbsp Ginger, chopped
3 tbsp Tuna Sauce
1 tbsp Soup Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Mirin
½ tbsp Fine Red Pepper Powder
¼ tsp Korean Black Pepper Powder
1 tsp White Sugar
