When you don’t have rice cakes…make Rice Paper Dukboki / 라이스 페이퍼 떡볶이

Want to make dukboki, but out of rice cakes? Just look in your cabinet, bet you have rice paper spring roll wraps. This recipe will show you how to get the flavor of your favorite dish. It’s easy to make, add sausage and mozzarella with chewy rice paper instead of dduk (“rice cake” in Korean). Try this perfect combination of sweet and spicy sauce and this special rice paper dduks!

Ingredients
15 Square Rice Papers
5 Mozzarella String Cheese
10 Vienna Sausages
1 tbsp Cooking Oil
Hot Water
2 Scallion, chopped
2 cups Water

Sauce
1 tbsp Gochugaru (Korean Red Pepper Flakes)
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Gochujang
2 Fish Cake Sheets, cut into bite size pieces
3 ¼ oz White Cabbage (cut into bite size pieces)
1 tbsp Cooking Syrup

Garnish
Scallion, chopped
Sesame Seeds
